The holiday season is full of festivities – buying and wrapping gifts, decorating your house, and celebrating with your family and friends. While it is a great time for everyone to come together, let’s not forget about our furry family members! Here are some fun ways to help get your pet in the holiday spirit!

Photos with Santa

The Wrigleyville Petsmart (3736 N. Halsted) and Roscoe Village Petsmart (3319 N. Ashland) are having pet photos with Santa on Dec. 15-16 from noon to 4 pm. It is free to take a photo with Santa and this can provide a great snapshot for next year’s holiday card!

Holiday Treats

Most pet owners like to spoil their pet year-round, and the holidays are just an excuse to give them a little extra to show how much we love them.

Tails in the City  – A boutique pet store located at 1 E. Delaware Pl. offers pet designer toys such as Tory Bark Plus Bone and Chewy Vuiton Purse. Tails in the City also carries dog clothing, bedding and gourmet treats.

Bark by the Park – Located less than a half mile away from Blum, Bark by the Park is an urban pet boutique that sells toys, collars and treats for both cats and dogs. Pet owners can also host private dog events at their location, so you can host your own ugly holiday sweater party for your pups!

Meowingtons – An online shop that caters to both humans and cats with a variety of apparel, toys and accessories! Meowingtons’ mission is to help cats anyway they can and to help all cats find their forever home. They work closely with shelters to foster cats, donate supplies and sponsor adoption events!
